And so I’m off out to hear Vivaldi’s Four Seasons played out by the Festive Orchestra of London tonight down at St Martin-in-the-Fields, at a night, not so surprisingly, entitled : Vivaldi Four Seasons by Candlelight. Sounds terrific, excepting for the fact that I’ll be going on my bloody own! Again. Flaky mates. Too many show tickets wasted by me, and I’ve been wanting to do this for ages, so lets see how we get on. Anyway to celebrate the show I’ve gone with perhaps the most famous and recognisable of all the movements from the 4 parts - Spring (Movement 1). Splendid.
